I have a couple of fairly open blogs (one on life, irritations, kids, and adventures; one on scholarly interests) and I have a super secret blog (that I have pretty much abandoned). But none of them is fitting the bill for what I want to prattle on about now... the adventures of becoming a "single girl" at 40.
This blog is not going to explore raw feelings that sometimes crop up in relation to people with whom I am generally quite close. But I will air the dirty laundry of my adventures in dating and sex land, so I'm thinking not everyone needs to be able to read about that. There are a few of you... well, you might want to know what I am up to and you might want to offer some suggestions of the way I'm deluding myself, so I'll invite you in. At the very least, I figure my exploits and missteps should be fairly amusing -- if not in the moment, at least by the time they make it to blogland!
